Right now, it does not. There is no advertising on this site and no affiliate links on any page. Nothing here is paid for and nobody pays us to say it.
That is a statement about today, not a promise about forever. The site costs money to run and at some point it will probably carry advertising, affiliate links, or both.
The standing rule when that happens. Any link that pays us will carry a visible label and a rel="sponsored" attribute in the markup, and the page it sits on will say so in plain words. You will never have to guess which links are commercial.
What it will never change. A cubic yard is 27 cubic feet whether or not anyone pays us, and a 10 by 12 ft patio at 4 inches needs 1.48 cubic yards regardless. No commercial arrangement will alter a number on this site, and no product will be recommended because it pays better than another.
If you find a link that pays us and is not labelled, that is a defect and we want to know about it.
